allowing

Allowing is forgiveness in the moment as in allowing yourself, things and people to be who and what they are.

Dialogue on Awakening
"Let me put it this way: a peaceful, loving, unconditional allowing attitude brings to your conscious mind a closer alignment of the recognition of your Whole Mind. If it were this process only that you were concerned with, you would find all of the other things which you perceive to be necessary to maintain your physical life would be met and they would be met in a most natural way without a sense of effort, without any sense at all that there was something that needed to be changed other than your pattern of thinking." [Dialogue on Awakening]

"There can be no state of unconditional allowing and acceptance as long as you are in a frame of mind which encourages you to make judgements of any nature or form. When I speak of unconditional allowing, I am referring to a mind set that positions you only into the moment during which you may see only those things which concern your own awakening. Your attention is easily diverted from this process by a sense of need to focus on someone else's process. There are, as you perceive them, a lot of "someone elses" out there. And should you choose that diversion of focus, it could be infinite." [Dialogue on Awakening]

Abraham-Hicks
"We would like you to release the word "achieve" or "earn" from your vocabulary and from your understanding, altogether; and we would like you to replace those words with the word "allow". You're wanting to allow your Well-being, not achieve it. It's not something that you need to earn. All you have to do is decide what it is you would like to experience, and then allow it in order to achieve it. It isn't something you have to struggle for or try for. You are all worthy beings. You are deserving of this Well-being." [Abraham-Hicks, Detroit, MI; July 8, 2000]

Her Money Comes And Goes
(Part 1 of 2)
Q: I amassed in the last six months a million dollars, and then invested it, and it went poof. I lost it all.
A: But what you didn't lose is your ability to manifest another.
Q: That's true. That's what I was saying, I manifest it.
A: That air is gone, too.
Q: There are just things that I specifically would like to have done differently with that money than I did.
A: Well, that will get you every time.
Q: How?
A: When you feel regret you're not in the Receiving Mode.
Q: And then I beat myself up about it - what is that, Step 5?
A: And when you beat yourself up, you're not in the Receiving Mode. It's like breathing it in, breathing it out, and then holding your breath. "I had air, I squandered it, I regret having let that air out because now it's gone. I refuse to let any more in because I'm so ashamed that I let it out." (Fun) It isn't different, it isn't different except that you have flawed premises (almost everybody does) about how it comes to you, because it's hard for you to accept that it is as simple as asking for it and then allowing it, and then it comes. And so the way you've come to allow it is you sacrifice and you work hard (this is the way you justify your allowing), but then there's limits on how much you can let in because there are limits about how much time you have or how much whatever belief you have in whatever. So you don't let it flow in the way that it could naturally.
One of the things that you're overlooking is that in that process of living and asking and allowing, you developed a vibrational currency that is always there with you because you can't go back - there is no going back, there's no regression - there's only life causing you to continue to ask and then to whatever degree you allow what you've asked for to come. But once you've learned or once you've allowed something to come to you, you are vibrationally changed, and you can never go back from that. So with your vibrational currency, or your ability to allow, once you've allowed it, you're there, and you'll keep moving forward into more and more and more and more and more of that.
But when you stop to take score and to make statements such as "I let it go and now it's gone, and I don't know when it can come back or how it will come back," that attention to that absence of what you want holds you in a vibrational stance that doesn't let it come back right now while you're holding your breath. As soon as you forget or as soon as you sleep, your negative momentum will subside, and when you wake up you have a chance of not picking it up and starting it again, unless you have these beliefs that cause you to continue to reactivate that." [Abraham speaking in Chicago on September 2, 2017]
