(L0/0) Walden's rule states that the product of the limiting equivalent conductance of an electrolytic solution, L0, and the viscosity of the solvent, /0, in which the solute (or electrolyte) is dissolved is a constant at a particular temperature. Walden's rule is an approximation which would be valid only for ions which behave hydrodynamically like Stokes spheres in a continuum.
