PHILADELPHIA, May 24. - John W. Keely to-day filed his answer to the equity suit against him by the stockholders of the Keely Motor Company. The answer, which is sworn to, substantially admits the truth of the formal portions of the complainant’s bill concerning the contract, etc. Keely adds that, although owing to certain abstruse difficulties by reason of the nature and qualities of the said force, he has thus far failed in his efforts to bring the said inventions and discoveries into any practicable use or to arrive at the utility required by the law, he believes he will ultimately succeed.
